General Labourer
General Labourer and Surface Laying Operators

We are seeking hardworking and committed labourers to join the team. Must be individuals with good time keeping.

The vacant positions are Permanent. These are not Temporary Contracts or self-employed positions. You need to live local to Head Office (30-mile radius of PR25) as Vans are typically issued to drivers as team members arrange pickups between themselves.

Due to the nature of the work you will be required to work away from home throughout the UK on a regular basis and be expected to occasionally work weekends and evenings to travel.

Starting Salary: Competitive, daily food allowance + additional pay for traveling. After 3 months basic salary will increase in accordance with satisfactory performance, with further reviews every 3 months up to 12 months. “EA £475” per week.

Duties
• Driving vehicles to their destination.
• Preparation of groundworks.
• Loading and unloading materials according to health and safety guidelines
• Using an industrial mixer
• Move by wheelbarrow the contents from mixer to laying area.
• Screeding the surface.
• Roll surface to obtain fine finish.

Requirements
• Valid Category B driver’s license
• Flexible with regards to working hours
• Experience in mixing as a labourer, using a float, laying outside surfaces will all be
advantageous, but full training will be given.
• Self-motivated individuals with attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.

Site Projects Supervisor (North)
Site Projects Supervisor (Outdoor Surface Laying)

We are seeking a Site Project Supervisor (North of England) to help deliver surfacing projects. As the Site Project Supervisor you will ensure work is completed to a high standard and on time.

We will expect you to create and maintain successful working relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and Operatives. You will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the building process and be well versed in health & safety requirements. The company is a well-established, long-standing and one of the biggest outdoor surfacing providers in the UK. The company operates nationwide and as a result of its substantial growth plans and successful operation requires a Site Project Supervisor. (Surface applications)

Due to the nature of the work you may be required to work away from home at times.

Role outline
• Carry out site inspections and complete remedial reports for groundwork preparations.
• Overseeing delivery of materials onsite.
• Be able to read drawings accurately and advise Team Leaders.
• Follow works specification and highlight any variations to the office team.
• Work with the Operations Manager to schedule the projects.
• Co-ordinate site Operatives and Sub Contractors.
• Uphold high professional standards on site at all times.
• Liaise with client.
• Close-out the job quickly and efficiently.
• Help site operatives to find solutions and encourage them to develop their own skills.
• To carry out on site Toolbox Talks and briefings.


Starting Salary: Competitive + Company vehicle + Fuel Card + daily food allowance when working away (Reviewed every 3 months for first 12 months)

Site Team Leader

Site Team Leader
We are seeking Team Leaders to join the team. The company is a well-established, long-standing and one of the biggest outdoor surfacing providers in the UK. The company operates nationwide and as a result of its substantial growth plans and successful operation require Site Team Leader. (Surface applications)

Due to the nature of the work you will be required to work away from home throughout the UK on a regular basis and be expected to occasionally work weekends and evenings to travel.

The vacant positions are Permanent. These are not Temporary Contracts or self-employed positions. You need to live within 30 miles radius to Head Office (PR25). A van will be issued to you once you start to lead a team.

Duties will include leading a 2/3 person team and delivering a range of floor surfacing contracts to customer specification. Importance is placed of working safely at all times in accordance with Company and Customers safe systems of work and quality processes. The role also includes requirement to log in and out of head office systems using tablets – past experience of using iPads to do this is preferred. Candidates should have past experience in leading a small team completing similar work. Also, the ability to think ahead, plan works, order materials and liaise with onsite representatives is essential. A full and valid UK driving licence is essential for this role – and candidates should be aware of this requirement in making an application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the team to ensure that delivery is achieved in accordance with client requirements.
• Lead the delivery of technical outputs within the team.
• Ensure personal and team utilisation targets are met.
• Develop and maintain strong client working relationships.
• Work jointly with project co-ordinators to manage the resources within the team.
• Develop the talent within the team by coaching and mentoring.
• Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Management System.
• Perform other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• CSCS/ SSSTS
• Leading and managing technical and project teams within a business environment.

• Ability to work without supervision essential, you will have the drive and determination to meet targets.

• Type up quotations
• Undertake various administrative duties
• Answer telephone calls

• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner
• Meeting and greeting clients/suppliers as and when required
• Admin as required
• Coordinate events and help to run the event on the day
• Make outbound calls to customers where required
• Book drone / photo shoots
• Source images and organise image banks
• Maintain tender folders
• Liaise with internal departments to gain information required for project

This role requires a proactive and positive approach, and the ability to work unsupervised.
