DCM Surfaces, a rapidly growing outdoor surfacing provider is now offering specifiers a RIBA approved CPD. “Playground Safety Surfacing; Finding the Right Contractor and Surface for Your Clients’.

The CPD aims to offer guidance on the correct specification of playground surfaces for a high quality, long-lasting finish, and covers important topics such as how groundworks and edges should be correctly prepared to ensure that BS1177 surfacing standards are met and when to specify for a UV-stable binder. The CPD will also cover the many benefits of using synthetic surfacing compared to traditional natural grass and loose fill products.

By the end of the 45-60 minute CPD, the attendee should obtain the necessary information to specify the correct play surface for each application.

Available across the UK, the new RIBA approved seminar lasts for between 45-60 minutes and all attendees are invited to help themselves to a complimentary buffet or light refreshments.
