CHASE CUTTING
To cut into the existing grass, concrete or macadam in order to create a ridge which the material can be ‘tucked’ into.

CONCRETE
A strong building material made by mixing a cementing material (such as Portland cement) and a mineral aggregate (such as sand and gravel) with sufficient water to cause the cement to set and bind the entire mass.

CRITICAL FALL HEIGHT
Represents the greatest height of head first fall, from which a child, landing on a surface, could be expected to avoid ‘sustaining a critical’ head injury.
