The CPD aims to offer guidance on the correct specification of playground surfaces for a high-quality, long-lasting finish and covers essential topics such as how groundwork and edges should be correctly prepared to ensure that BS1177 surfacing standards are met and when to specify for a UV-stable binder. The CPD will also cover the many benefits of synthetic surfacing compared to traditional natural grass and loose-fill products.
By the end of the 45-60 minute CPD, the attendee should obtain the necessary information to specify the correct play surface for each application.
