DCM Surfaces was a part of the restoration of the UK’s largest and most historic lidos situated in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, Pontypridd.
The new play area, which was inspired by the drawings of local school children, was designed by eibe Play to appeal to children of all ages and includes a myriad of play items, including slides, tunnels, swings, and a miniature depiction of a Pontypridd Railway Station.
Supported by the European Regional Development Fund, the Lottery Fund, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, and a contribution from Cadw, the £6.3 million scheme features a multi-purpose play area and bright, modern visitor centre. It has been designated as the National Lido for Wales.
