DCM Surfaces provided specialist surfacing for the new state-of-the-art £18 million Lisburne School in Stockport. Designed by AtkinsRéalis and built on the former Offerton High School site, this flagship facility serves 200 pupils aged four to 11 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
DCM Surfaces was commissioned to transform the surfacing of a structural viaduct and adjacent ground-level spaces into a multi-functional community hub as part of a major urban regeneration programme in Leeds. This ambitious project required a sophisticated multi-surface approach.
DCM Surfaces was thrilled to collaborate with eibe play Ltd to create a vibrant, safe, and imaginative play environment at Whipsnade Zoo’s Hullabazoo Outdoor Adventure Play Area. This project required a blend of high-durability materials and creative artistry to match the zoo’s wild atmosphere.
The primary objective of this project was to enhance the family offering at Severn Valley Country Park through the installation of a modern, engaging play surface. Designed to encourage outdoor play and physical activity, the new facility serves as a key attraction for local residents and visitors alike.
The project required a comprehensive surfacing solution that could accommodate a wide range of play equipment while maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the site.
The play area was designed to engage children through various “zones” of play, requiring a multi-colored and highly detailed surfacing plan. From a bespoke wooden train to a towering, multi-level climbing adventure, every element needed a safe, durable, and visually thematic foundation.

Sudley Infant School approached DCM to transform its outdoor environment into a dynamic and enriching space tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 (KS1) children. The goal was to provide various zones that cater to sports, play, quiet reading, and imaginative activities, with equipment designed to support both growth and confidence-building challenges as the children develop.
DCM Surfaces carried out the installation of play equipment along with the application of 180m2 of Rubber Mulch.
