DCM were delighted to be part of the long awaited refurbishment of Radnar Park, Folkestone.
HAGS UK were the successful bidders in the contract for the three separate play areas, which included new play equipment, surfacing and landscaping. The redevelopment also included the install of a resin bound gravel footpath with a conipave base layer to replace the concrete and uneven surface of the existing fountain area.
DCM has a longstanding relationship with HAGS, and worked closely with them to deliver a range of surfaces for the project. Rubber mulch was chosen as the primary safety surfacing for the playground, and artificial play grass was used to cover the tunnel and raised hill. As a harder-wearing surface than mulch, wetpour was installed around the roundabout.
