Singlegate Primary School is part of a federation within the London Borough of Merton, offering its pupils the highest possible standard of 21st-century innovative learning and teaching.
The theme for the school playground was ‘The London Underground’, creating a track from one end of the playground to the other in the colours and style of the underground map. The best product for this design was Wetpour, as it has a variety of colours and is flexible when forming shapes and graphics. The new and improved Wetpour surface complimented the play equipment and the surrounding environment.
DCM also installed a new multi-use sports pitch area for ball games and other activities. Blue Artificial Grass was the chosen surface, providing a colourful, accessible, all-weather surface for pupils. For the finishing touches, lines were painted onto the area to form goals and the relevant pitch markings.
