The Objective Located directly next to the beach, the St Aubin’s Promenade required a safe, durable, and visually engaging playground surface. The client envisioned a bespoke, sea-themed environment that would perfectly complement the coastal setting. Logistically, the installation also needed to be carefully timed to tie in seamlessly with another ongoing project our team was handling in Jersey.
The Solution & Application To bring this vibrant marine theme to life, our team installed over 100 square meters of premium Wetpour surfacing at a consistent depth of 50mm. The design utilised two distinct, highly durable color blends to create a striking visual impact:

A major component of this project was the integration of detailed, sea-themed graphics, including starfish, an octopus, fish, and seaweed. To ensure a flawless finish, we installed preformed graphics. Our installation team expertly laid these directly into the surface, eliminating the need for on-site cutting and ensuring a perfectly smooth, secure fit.
The Outcome The finished playground is a vibrant, safe, and highly imaginative space that beautifully reflects its seaside surroundings. By coordinating efficiently with our other operations in Jersey and utilising preformed graphics, the team delivered a flawless 50mm Wetpour installation that the local community will enjoy for years to come.
