DCM Surfaces were thrilled to be awarded the contract to construct this new build MUGA, following a lengthy tender process.
The project included all elements of the build, including; excavation of the existing surface, the MOT stone build-up, macadam subbase, PCC edges and 1.8m twin rebound wire fence panels around the perimeter.
A 12-15mm black EPDM was installed directly to the tarmac sub-base and then sprayed with an anti-slip coating.
Coloured line markings were added following the installation to enable multiple games, such as; football, netball and basketball, to be played.
