The Project: A Massive 30,000 sq ft Transformation
The Thursford Adventure Play is an epic installation featuring suspended walkways, bridges, and towering play structures. For a park of this scale and complexity, a one-size-fits-all approach simply wouldn’t work. Our team delivered a highly detailed, multi-surface installation designed to guarantee maximum safety while enhancing the site’s vibrant, nostalgic aesthetic.
Technical Specifications
To accommodate the diverse play equipment and varying fall heights, we utilised a blend of our high-performance safety surfaces:

Wetpour Safety Surfacing: Installed in multiple vibrant colours to match the fairground theme, providing seamless impact protection around high-activity structures.

EcoMulch: Used to provide a natural, bark-like aesthetic that complements the woodland surroundings while offering excellent durability and drainage.

Multi-Surface Integration: Meticulous attention to detail was required to transition between different materials across the 30,000 sq ft site, ensuring a flush and safe finish under every bridge and walkway.
The Result
